As part of our 'Off to Uni' campaign, I was asked to install a brand new display site in the menswear department.
The aim of this new site was to cross promote our different departments displaying products from home, technology and fashion. The room set combines display dressing with areas of product that are there to be shopped
I chose to divide the space down the centre using a screen to display two different room sets; one side being a students desk heavily dressed with affordable stationary and technology, while the other side became a comfortable and vibrant living space perfect for a student home.
Plinths feature vinyl decals made to match the P.O.S and technology products from our Anyday range.
This is complimented with a group of mannequins dressed in casual, comfy yet fashionable clothes that would be ideal for any university student with a rail situated behind them so garments are easy for customers to shop.
After the success of this new site resulting in the sale of several pieces of furniture and a positive response from customers, I then went on to add another display site in the sports department.
This was to add excitement and an area of interest to the department while highlighting the range of our sports clothes and equipment. Inspired by a home gym, I repurposed this Croft fixture to create a workout space that customers could shop.
I created the pattern for the sign and plinths, which is inspired by fast movements, to help reinforce a smart yet sporty feel.
